Sports Schedules


Schedules

Each SPIRIT camp session begins on a Sunday. During the afternoon, campers meet with their advisor to select the sports that they want to play while at camp and to set up their schedule. Each camper must organize her individualized sports schedule within the offerings of the master schedule. Practices for the campers chosen sports start Monday morning.

Note: The master schedule is designed to minimize wasted time walking from field to field or up and down the campus hills. Therefore, sports played on the fields (at the bottom of our campus) are offered during one time block, and sports played at the top of our campus are offered during another time block. Keep in mind, varsity players can get additional workouts in the sport/position of their choice during our daily blocks of free time if they wish.

Note: The freshmen campers travel through a daily sports schedule as a unit. Their schedule is determined after we meet with the campers who are enrolled and find out what sports the majority of the girls are interested in playing. The chosen sports are the sports we then teach most often during the campers stay with us.

9:10 - 10:30 Basketball - Volleyball - Newton (a modified version of volleyball)- Track - Tennis - Street Hockey - Pickle (a base running, cathcing and throwing game)

Warm-up games followed by two of the following sports played for 35 minutes each
